Mr. Macks, a co-founder of BV, has actively managed a portfolio
of early-stage private equity investments for over 17 years.
As a General Partner of BVIV, Mr. Macks serves as a Director
of kSaria and BlueSocket. Mr. Macks will assume the position
of Founding Partner in BV V. Mr. Macks also has over 17
years experience in various operating businesses.
Mr. Macks is
a member of the Maryland Bar. He is a Director on the Board of
the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA), Co-Chair of MAVA's
2003 and 2002 venture fair "Capital Connection",
Vice President and Director of the Baltimore Museum of Art, and
is an officer of The Associated: Jewish Community Federation
of Baltimore.
Mr. Macks graduated from the University of Maryland
School of Law in 1984 and received his undergraduate degree from
Washington University in 1981.
